
The Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat are both one game away from officially qualifying for the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs. Dallas edged out Sacramento 120-106 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento yesterday. Anthony Davis led the team in scoring with 27 points, having played 35 minutes, followed by Klay Thompson with 23 points in 33 minutes. Dallas Mavericks led the match in assists, steals, blocks, shots both inside and outside the arc, and free throw percentage.

Miami dominated the Chicago Bulls 109-90, sending them into the postseason early. Tyler Herro, Andrew Wiggins, and Bam Adebayo led the team in scoring. Tyler made 13 of 19 field goals and had a career high of 38 points. The team led the match in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and shot percentage inside and outside the arc.
Miami is set to face Atlanta tomorrow on the last day of the play-in tournament as Dallas matches up against the Memphis Grizzlies. The winner from both these games will proceed as the No. 8 seed in their respective conference.
